VA Recruitment Process

It’s very easy to apply to be a My Freight Staff Virtual Assistant. We’ve broken it down into 3 easy steps below with brief descriptions for each. This should answer most questions that you have about our recruitment process

MFS Recruiting & Onboarding Process

STEP #1: Application

In order to get things started you need to apply via our website. Take a look at the job openings and once you’ve chosen the one that suits your skills and character click the corresponding “apply now” button. This will take you to our online application form. Make sure you meet all workspace system requirements, complete the application, and hit the “submit button”. If you were not able to upload your resume through the form, our Recruiting team will simply ask for it if you move forward in the process.

STEP #2: Screening

Once we receive your application, it is reviewed by our Recruiting team to see if you are good candidate to join MFS. Once the application is reviewed, we will follow up in an email with an interview request only with the candidates that are moving forward in the process. If you pass the initial interview, you move forward to a profile exam, and a final interview. During this step your workspace system requirements will be verified.

STEP #3: Training and Placement

If an applicant gets past the screening process successfully, they are scheduled to the next available training group. This training covers the basics of the U.S. Transportation and Logistics industry, common tasks and related tools. The first training is a self-paced, self-study course and the second is a hands-on group training (both 100% online).

When training is passed and completed, we set up interviews with clients that have needs that meet your skillset. Typically VAs are hired within 1 to 3 weeks of passing Advanced Training and submitting all requirements.

Did you apply in the past and then again recently?

Doing this can cause an error in our system in a small percent of re-applications. If you have applied in the past and have not heard back from the new application after two weeks, reach out to our team and we will look into it for you.
